A page is not an unlimited amount of text.

A standard page contains up to 500 Chinese characters, measured in the Chinese source or Chinese translation. A physical page above this limit is charged proportionally, with a minimum of one standard page per physical page. For example, a single 750-character page is 1.5 standard pages. Passport information pages count as one page; ID-card front and back together count as one page. The count is assessed and the price agreed before work begins.

For longer documents, Chinese-to-English uses Chinese source characters excluding spaces; English-to-Chinese uses the estimated Chinese target character count agreed for quotation. We confirm a fixed project price before work begins rather than adding an unagreed final word-count surcharge.
